the woman by the sea

The woman playing by the sand has built a castle. Her castle doesn’t look as perfect as all the others with their high detailed towers. Her towers mimic the flow of tears, each one falling in a unique pattern. She soaks the sun in, all of her soaks the sun in, she has no room for a top while she’s making her craft, she must remain free. She goes for a swim and leaves her castle unattended, without fear of it tumbling down. She plays with the children that walk by. She lets the wave crash against her castle and watches it fall down and she did not shed one tear for it. One day I hope to be the woman by the sea.
